A problem statement is a concise expression about a topic of concern, condition to be improved, or difficulty to be addressed that indicates a need for meaningful understanding and deliberate investigation leading to action and change.
Work backward from the problem to the solution: “If X is the problem and Y is the type of change you want to see, what is needed to address the problem?”
